DID YOU KNOW:

FASTCAT POINTS: Titles are earned by accumulating points. The following titles will be awarded: BCAT = 150 Points; DCAT = 500 points; FCAT = 1,000 points; and FCAT followed by a number (e.g. FCAT2) for every additional 500 points. These suffix titles will appear on a dog’s pedigree, with a higher level title superseding a lower level title. 

AKC Championship Points:   A dog must earn 15 points to be considered a conformation champion.  The 15 points  must contain 2 blocks of major points. The blocks come in 3 ,4 or 5 point blocks and must be awarded by 2 different judges.  At least 1 single point must be earned from a 3rd judge. (CH)

Grand Champion Points:  A dog must earn 25 points. The points must contain 3 blocks of major points from 3 individual judges with at lease 1 point earned from a 4th judge. The dog must also defeat 1 AKC champion of record at 3 different shows. 

Grand Champion Bronze (GCHB): The dog must earn an additional 100 Grand Championship points.

Grand Champion Silver (GCHS): The dog must earn an additional 200 Grand championship points.

Grand Champion Gold (GCHG):  The dog must earn an additional 400 Grand championship points.

• When purchasing a puppy avoid a breeder that says "The vet said it could hear". 
• When trimming the dog's toenails do not trim the nail too short, nails bleed easily.
• It is sometimes easier to grind the dog's toenails instead of cutting/trimming.
• To dust off your dogs coat use an unscented dryer sheet, it will collect loose hair and dirt.
